Reuters: Asia's Wealthy Families Look to Boost Crypto Allocations in Portfolios
BlockBeats News, August 21st, according to Reuters, Asian wealthy families and family offices are increasing their cryptocurrency investments, driven by bullish expectations for digital assets, increased mainstream acceptance, and key market-friendly regulatory developments.
Wealth managers say they have seen a significant increase in inquiries, a surge in cryptocurrency exchange volumes, and strong demand for cryptocurrency funds as high-net-worth Asian investors seek greater exposure.
"We have raised over $100 million in just a few months, and the feedback from limited partners has been very positive," said Jason Huang, Founder of NextGen Digital Venture, where the limited partners are primarily high-net-worth individuals.
Swiss investment bank UBS said some overseas Chinese family offices plan to increase their cryptocurrency exposure to around 5% of their portfolios.
