The four-week average of initial jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending April 18 was 210,750, revised from the previous value of 209,750 to 210,000.

The number of continuing jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending April 11 was 1.821 million, expected to be 1.82 million, and the previous value was revised from 1.818 million to 1.809 million.
